Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information between visits. Canopy uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising or for cross-site tracking.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
sb-access-tokensb-refresh-token | Authentication. Keeps you signed in across page loads. Set by our authentication subprocessor (Supabase) when you log in. | Session / 30 days |
canopy-theme | Stores your light/dark interface preference so it persists between visits. | 1 year |
__vercel_live_token | Set by our hosting provider (Vercel) to verify deployments and serve content from the nearest edge location. Strictly necessary for service operation. | Session |
All cookies above are strictly necessary or functional— they are required to deliver the service you requested or to remember settings you have explicitly chosen. We do not currently use analytics, marketing, or third-party advertising cookies.
How to control cookies
Because every cookie we set today is strictly necessary or functional, we do not display a cookie consent banner. Disabling these cookies will prevent you from signing in or cause your theme preference to reset on each visit.
You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings. Common paths:
- Safari:Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Chrome:Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge:Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Changes
If we add new categories of cookies in the future (for example, product analytics), we will publish a cookie preferences control here and obtain explicit consent before setting any non-essential cookie for visitors in jurisdictions that require it.
